Unique Lighting

It's time to make changes at Heavenly Lights. Our unique lighting is fantastic and we want you to see that, but we also want you to know that we are real people behind the chandeliers and computers. So slowly we will be changing each of our pages to more reflect us. Those boring computer descriptions seem so formal. So from now on, you will hear from me, Cherie Drennan, owner and designer. I am crazy about lighting, I love every piece I work on and take pride in each fixture. I'll tell you everything I know about these fixtures and maybe even things you don't want to know.

Our unique lighting category includes a hodgepodge of chandeliers. Most of the fixtures in this category are vintage. We have given these fixtures new life with paint, beads, prisms and whatever else we can think of. We have some Shabby Chic style chandeliers, cottage style lighting, tole chandeliers, mini chandeliers and Art Deco lighting. Each chandelier is truly a one-of-a-kind original and once it is sold, it is gone.

Green Chandelier

This cool fixture is green in more ways than one. We saved this vintage charmer by restoring it to a hot lime color and adding neat beads, baubles and handpainted candle covers. The 5-arm green chandelier measures 17" long (including all prisms) by 16" wide and comes with a matching chain and ceiling cap. The eco-friendly fixuture can be hung in the coolest spot in the house!

Mini Chandelier

This sweet mini chandelier has been sold but I can create a reproduction if you would like. The original was 12" long and 11" wide and made of vintage brass. It was cleaned, rewired and decorated. Actually I can do one of two things, either create a reproduction for you or find another vintage mini chandelier as close to this one as I could find. The vintage may cost a bit more but, not much more.

Tole Chandelier

This awesome tole chandelier is sold. I have an obsession with tole chandeliers and have plenty in the studio. In fact I have one right now that is all white, it is fantastic! It is shaped like a pear. I need to rehaul it and get it up on the site for you. I'll put a priority on it! Call or e-mail if you would like a picture of the tole chandeliers I have in the studio. You can take a look at this one while I'm working on the other.

One of our favorites is this vintage tole chandelier. We are not really sure what color this chandelier was originally but it doesn't matter now because it has been totally refurbished with new paint and wiring. The tole chandelier measures 14" long and 17" wide and comes with a matching ceiling cap and plenty of chain. You will not find this chandelier anywhere else as it is a one-of-a-kind.

Cottage Style Chandelier

I had this cottage style chandelier on the site for a while but it was painted soft cream with no embellishments. I had distressed it a bit for a neat vintage cottage feel but honestly, it was boring. When you look at the cottage style chandelier, it is unique with the 5 arms and 10 lights. It has all of its original sparkly prisms but it just didn't do it for me. So I got these little beaded wreaths that I had in the studio and added them to each bobesche (candle cup). They have clear beads on them wrapped with a green vine and a dainty ribbon. Then I added these cool green beads and draped them on the bottom from arm to arm and, voila! the transformation into an awesome garden chandelier. What a great look for a sun room, a bedroom or a child's room. I hope you can see the green beads, if they are hard to make out on your monitor, I can send you a picture with a light background. The cottage style chandelier has been rewired and measures 14" long including beads and 22" wide. It comes with a matching ceiling cap and plenty of chain.

Shabby Chic Chandelier

We named this Shabby Chic chandelier the wedding cake. It is pretty obvious why, but it truly looks like a wedding cake! The eight arm fixture is actually a vintage brass light fixture that has been painted white and layered with varying sizes of porcelain roses. It measures 17" long including prisms and 18" wide. It carries pink beaded chains and pink teardrop prisms.

I've made many variations of the Shabby Chic chandelier so let me know if you are interested. They can be made in white, pink or off-white. The eight arm chandelier runs $525.00 and a 5 arm vintage chandelier runs $425. Please specify in the comments section if you would like the 5 arm chandelier. I will lead you through the process where we can find the perfect vintage chandelier frame just for you.

Black Chandelier

This black chandelier is a knock-out! A Heavenly Lights exclusive design that you will not find in any furniture, lighting or home improvement store. The 4-arm black chandelier is decorated with two beautiful crystals on the column that radiate beautiful color all around the room. It measures 22' long including prisms by 22" wide and is adorned with beautiful clear prisms.

Designer Lighting

Do you ever do something just--stupid? Well, I did on this designer lighting chandelier. Look in the picture at the top. See the curves that look like the letter c? The front top right one is missing. It is very hard to tell--I promise because I restored 90% of the chandelier before realizing it. I could have kicked myself. Regardless, my loss is your gain, which is a great price! The designer lighting chandelier is vintage, it is made of metal and is painted an off-white. It is decorated with clear beads, new prisms and the cutest little trumpet flowers. The six light unique chandelier measures 20 1/2" long by 22 1/2" wide and comes with a matching ceiling cap and plenty of chain. It is offered at half-price...what a deal!

Art Deco Lighting

We love Art Deco lighting. This unique light fixture is made to mount flush or flat to the ceiling. We have totally restored the ceiling fixture by cleaning and rewiring it. We have also painted it with green, deep red and copper. The Art Deco light measures 12 1/2" wide hangs 6 1/2" from the ceiling. This fixture would look really nice in a dim hallway or powder room. The reproduction bulbs are not included with the fixture but can be purchased by calling us at 1-800-715-1456.

Pink Chandelier

A beautiful pink chandelier. This specific chandelier has been sold but I can create another 5 arm vintage in pink, white or ivory for $500.00. The Heavenly Lights original has 5 arms and is decorated in pink beads and all original prisms. The vintage chandelier is so feminine; it would be such a great fit with cottage decor. The pink chandelier measures 19" long including it's prisms and 21" wide. It holds 40 watt bulbs (25 if using shades) and comes with a matching ceiling cap and plenty of chain. Such a pretty focal point for any room!

Mini Chandelier

A really neat mini chandelier with a victorian feel. I admit, I bought this petite fixture, I just couldn't resist it. You know, when you pass by something and you think it is so pretty and then you tell yourself you don't need it. Then you go back and it is even more beautiful. Then you pass by it one last time and you know you have to have it. Well, here it is. No, I didn't make it. It's so cool though, it has one bulb in the middle and plugs into the wall so you can put it anywhere you'd like. It doesn't have chain on the cord for some reason so I'll add that to it. The mini chandelier is embellished with pearls, chains, sequins and glass beads all attached to a metal frame. This type of unique lighting makes a room so romantic. It measures 20" long and 11 1/2" wide. A must have!

Shabby Chic Lighting

A beautiful piece of Shabby Chic lighting. This five arm chandelier is handmade and painted a crisp white. I finally located pink prisms and just had to use them on this chandelier; I also added pearls to the clear teardrops. A customer requested pink candle covers with white drippings for a custom chandelier that I made for her and they turned out great so I wanted to share them with you. They really set off the pink prisms. The Shabby Chic chandelier measures 18 1/2" long and 15" wide and comes with a matching ceiling cap and plenty of chain. You will not find this chandelier anywhere else as it is a one-of-a-kind.

Black Chandelier

Offering a classy black chandelier. The 5 arm original is hand made of sturdy metal and decorated with clear prisms. It measures 15 1/2" tall and 16 1/2" wide and comes with a matching ceiling cap and plenty of chain.

Lots of our ideas come from our customers so don't be afraid to call us. We are constantly changing prism colors, taking beads off, adding them and any other things our customers think of. Really, you bring us our best ideas. Most of our designer lighting is made of brass and heavy metals. These old fixtures hold up so well. Each piece of unique lighting is taken apart, cleaned, rewired either fully or partially, depending on the need and reassembled. Then the fixtures are decorated and given new life.
